Born and raised in the Wood River Valley, Lisa left for college but returned home to raise her family and build her career in the community she loves. She has worked in veterinary medicine for over 15 years, though her journey started even earlier, volunteering in local clinics and boarding facilities while still in high school. For Lisa, working with animals has never been just a job. It’s the only path that has ever felt right.
She holds a degree in Veterinary Technology and is a Certified Veterinary Technician, as well as Fear Free Certified. Lisa believes in a gentle, individualized approach to care, always focused on minimizing fear and building trust with her patients.
She has a special passion for dentistry and the transformation that can happen when a pet finally finds relief from oral pain. She also enjoys the precision of anesthesia, customizing care for each patient’s specific needs.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys sewing, reading, camping, and fishing. She shares her life with her husband, their two boys, and a small, well-loved crew of cats and dogs.
