Dr. Chad Cleveland is a veterinarian with deep roots in the Wood River Valley. Born and raised in Ketchum, he grew up nordic ski racing and exploring the outdoors, developing a lifelong love for animals, nature, and his tight-knit community.
He earned his veterinary degree from Oregon State University and completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Animal Specialty & Emergency Center in Los Angeles. After several years practicing in Southern California, Chad returned to Idaho in 2020 to raise his family and care for pets in the place he’s always called home.
At Habitat Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Cleveland focuses on internal medicine and surgery for dogs and cats. Known for his calm demeanor and sharp clinical skills, clients appreciate his clear communication and steady presence.
When he’s not in the clinic, Chad is usually outside—hiking, biking, skiing, or sneaking in the occasional surf trip. He lives locally with his wife Pauli, their daughter, and their pug, Spud.
Chad is also the founder of Dr. C’s Pet Products, an Idaho-based, veterinarian-owned company committed to improving pet wellness through thoughtfully designed products and trustworthy education. The company actively supports local shelters, veterinary clinics, wildlife organizations, and nonprofits throughout the state.
